Preschool classes at Ruby begin at the age of two.
Students will bring a parent/grandparent in with them for this class! Our Amethyst Program is an experience that can be matched by none! The focus of the class is to introduce children to a classroom atmosphere and to get them ready to be in a class without their parents once they turn three. The curriculum for this class focuses on basic gymnastics skills along with balance/strength fine motor, gross motor, cognitive and social skills. This class has a monthly theme with bi-weekly stations to keep the child interested and coming back for more! Our course-based format is set up to keep kids in constant motion. This class has three goals:
To get our students involved at a young age in order to begin building a foundation for a lifetime of physical activity.
To use gymnastics as a tool to enhance motor development.
To introduce the children to a gym environment and allow them to explore the action/reaction principles of different landing, jumping and crawling surfaces.
